To kick off this year’s sustainability events, we’ve got a really exciting day happening in Gippsland – yes! We’re finally making it to Gippsland!! – and would love to see you there. We’ll begin with a Intro to Foraging presentation (complete with physical examples and tasty foraged-food testers), which is the perfect opportunity to prepare for abundant wild autumn harvests.
Then we’ll share a lunch before getting stuck into learning the art of fermenting as a way of fighting food waste, where you’ll make your own jar of fermented food to take home. Spots are very limited, and several have been snapped up already, so book in asap if you want to join us.
Also this March, we’re running presentations and workshops on low-waste cleaning, low-waste living, and basic mending. Oh, and we’ll be back for another year at Stonnington’s marvellous Pets in the Park event, sharing ways to keep waste at a minimum as a pet owner – look for us at the City of Stonnington tent and come say hi!
