Sustainable Living Events – September

Spring has well and truly sprung, as Tom Sainsbury always amuses me by saying, and with it comes a nice mix of free events around Naarm. Scraptastic is definitely the waste-saving flavour of the day, with 4 food-waste gigs across the month: in Manningham, Maroondah, as part of Zero Waste Victoria’s fabulous Zero Waste Festival at Fed Square, and to round off Kingston Council’s ‘Food Feastival’.

Then Frankston continues our year-long food-waste education series with presentation-workshop combos on dehydrating food and growing food without the waste. Both excellent sessions to come to, as you not only learn a heap, but you have a go at making some low-waste goodies to take home with you.

Lots of good learning to be had, and I hope to see you at one (or more) of these fun events ๐Ÿ™‚
