Description
Escape the waste cycle of using plastic wrap in the kitchen by switching to natural beeswax wraps.
And what better way to do so than upcycling some old cotton clothes or secondhand fabric?!
This kit contains ingredients enough to make at least a dozen wraps – enough to set you right for many years to come.
Contents include:
– 70g of beeswax sourced from our local bee-man,
– 30ml of Australian-made organic jojoba oil in a glass & metal bottle (which can be refilled at various bulk-food & health food shops),
– 20g of Australian sourced colophony pine rosin (enough to make a second batch with locally sourced beeswax & jojoba in the future),
– a full guide on how to blend the perfect wax mixture and then make your own wraps from any cotton material,
– and a couple of cute cotton fabric rounds for you to get started with.
Ad we even packaged it all up in handmade paper bags and hand-twined cotton string. 💛
NB – FREIGHT TO WA & TAS
**Due to biosecurity restrictions on beeswax, this kit cannot be shipped to WA or Tasmania.
if you’re in either of these states and want to have a go at making your own wraps, our bookazine Handmade Christmas contains full instructions and step-by-step photographs for you to follow using local ingredients.
